Everyone has their goals to be achieved in life. There are many things that you want to acquire but sometimes you fail to get want you want. As a human, it is normal for us to compare ourselves with others. You might feel jealous if there is someone who get better result than you, get higher payment after graduated from university or can eat at expensive place.
If you ever question why other people have something that you do not have, you should read this entry until the end. Before you start to complain or disappointed with what you do not have, you should think first why you do not have it. There must be a reason why God do not give it to you but give it to others.
Let say you have been married for 10 years but still do not have children. If you think in a positive way, maybe actually you are not ready to carry the responsibilities as a parent (you might think you are ready but God knows better) or you are given more time to spend with your spouse. You will enjoy your life more when you think in this way rather than keep blaming yourself or your partner.
Bear in mind that everyone has their own rezeki. However, your rezeki might be different from others. Probably your rezeki is in form of high job payment but your neighbour's rezeki is in form of getting Best Employee Award every year. Therefore, just be grateful with what you have and you will be more happy with your life.
Apart from that, I'm sure some of you have heard about this quote before, "You do not get what you want but you get what you need". Sometimes the thing that you want is not what you need actually. Maybe you want it because you see that others have it so you want to compete with them. For example, by buying Perodua Myvi you can drive to your working place but you choose to buy Honda City that is much more expensive. Why you do this? Is it because you really need it or you want to show to people that you can also afford to buy expensive car?
Nowadays, it is difficult to avoid from comparing yourselves with others as everyday you see others' life in social media. However, you can take it as a challenge to improve yourselves rather than talk bad things about them just because you do not have what they have.
Today Quote: Don't only look at people who have more achievements and more lucky than you but do look at people who have less achievements and less lucky than you also. Stop comparing yourself with others but start to be grateful with what you have instead.

-When something does not happen like what you want it to be?
Jangan sesekali membanding-bandingkan.. Mula-mula dulu selalu rasa tak bersyukur.. Tapi semakin meningkat usia setiap hari akak rasa sangat bersyukur.. sebab tahu dah setiap kegembiraan dan kesenangan yang dimilik melalui bermacam-macam kepayahan.. sebab tu tak memandang pada kebahagiaan orang lain sebab ada kepayahannya yang tak terlihat..
ReplyDeleteKadang-kadang kita nampak kehidupan orang tu sempurna je tapi kepayahan dia di belakang, kita tak nampak. Mungkin kehidupan dia lagi susah daripada kita.
DeleteSoooo true :)
