Every year, we tend to set up new goals to be achieved. Usually, people will ask what are our aims and targets for a particular year. We are always have a list of goals to be achieved but how many of us are able to achieve our goals. Do we ever start the effort to achieve or just use the same list the next years?
Some of us will set a target to improve ourselves and be a better person. You may plan to score better in your study, attend more religious classes, learn new language and many more. However, have you made any changes in your life?
It is easier for us to say and plan to make some changes but it is harder for us to make the changes. We tend to give excuses when we want to start it. For example, you said that you want to lose weight but you want to wait for suitable time. You do not want to diet during Hari Raya because a lot of open houses. Then, after Hari Raya, there are others festive season and you still think that it is not a suitable time. So, when is the suitable time and when you want to make changes to achieve your goals?
If you really want to change, there is no such thing as suitable time. No matter when you want to make the changes, there are always obstacles and challenges. It is depends on yourselves to handle and deal with them.
Why not you start to make some changes and just go with the flow? Sometimes it is better to be in this way. When you want to change for good, there will be people who support you and people who talk bad about you. Take good words as motivation and just ignore bad words. The most important thing is you and God know that you are doing a good change.
No matter what are the reasons you want to change, may everything would be eased. Do not give up and always stay motivated. Try to get support from your loved ones. If someone you know are struggling to change, do give your support to them.
Today's quote: Stop waiting for suitable time because you do not know when it will come. Start to make changes instead.
