Hello everyone. Welcome back to Motivational Monday series after one month. Today's entry will be on "Be Grateful In Life". Before we proceed further, you should know the meaning of grateful. Grateful means feel thankful or appreciate what we have.
We always hear people said that they are grateful with their lives. However, do we really feel grateful with our lives? We may feel grateful when everything follows our plans and we get what we want but how about the opposite situations?
As a human being, there is one point in life where we question why something happened to us. It is even worst when we start comparing our lives with someone who seem like have a better life than us.
All of us are tested in different ways. Some people are rich but they suffer a disease. Some people have a good friendship but they have bad family relationship. Actually, everyone has good and bad things happen in their life but it depends on how we view the situation.
One of the way to help us to deal with all the obstacles and problems in life is to be grateful. At first, it might be hard for us to practise it but as time flies, we will realise how being grateful lead to a peaceful and happy life.
When we say being grateful, the scope is quite wide. It can be grateful with our family, grateful with health condition, grateful with the food we eat and many more. For example, we are in a situation where we get the food that we dislike, do not say bad thing/complain too much to the food. Do remember that there are so many people out there that do not even have food to eat.
Being grateful actually can help us to think positively and bring positive vibes in our lives. Every time we feel down, do think on the good sides of our lives. Somehow it can give us strength to continue our lives.
If we think that we are tested heavily and surrounded with many problems, try to look at those who are tested with bigger and more complicated problems. We should feel more grateful with our lives and complain less.
However, being grateful does not mean that we do not put effort to improve ourselves. For instance, do not use being grateful as an excuse to not study because you are grateful with your grade. Being grateful means that we do not do something excessively until it affects our life in a negative way. Put enough efforts, not do not put any efforts at all.
Today's quote: Grateful is a word full of positive vibes. If you have it, you are able to go through many situations in life no matter how difficult they are.
