Hi everyone. Welcome back to Motivational Monday series. For today's entry, I have chosen a topic that most of you may have experience or hear about it before which is life as an unemployed individual.
There are many reasons why people are unemployed. Probably, they just graduated and have not get any job offer or they lose their job and have not get a new job.
During the current situation, some of us might face difficulties in finding a job and have to face pressure for people around you. Those who are just graduated are struggling to find job related to their study while others might struggle to generate income in order to support their family.
Life as an unemployed individual is not easy especially when your friends already got a job and fix income every month while you are still depending on your parent to support you financially. In addition, there are some people who keep asking when are you going to get a job.
It hurts when people view unemployment as a failure. Certain people just say what they want to say without thinking the emotional and psychological effects to the unemployed individual. We have to understand that they are two types of unemployed individual which are those who are job seeker and those who are not job seeker.
Bear in mind that some people are unemployed not because they are not searching for job. However, probably it is not their rizq to get a job yet. Of course we are planning for the best, but God might have better plan for us.
Instead of viewing unemployment as a negative thing, why not we view it in a more positive way. Being unemployed gives a chance for a child to serve their parent. Once someone is working, it is quite hard to find time for family especially if you are working far away from your hometown. Therefore, use the unemployed period to spend time with your family.
Besides, you have time to focus on your interest. For instance, you have more time for blogging, gardening and travelling. If you are unable to do what you like because you are busy with study/work before, you can utilise your unemployment period to do it.
At the same, do not give up to find a job. Just search for job opportunities from many sources and submit your application. Put efforts, pray and tawakkul. May God ease the journey of all unemployed individuals to get a job.
Today's quote: No matter what we do in life, we will never be able to make everyone feel satisfy. When you are unemployed, people will talk about you because you do not have any job. When you are employed but in a field that is not related to your course, people will still talk about you. Therefore, just enjoy your unemployment period because you are going to miss it one day.

I am currently just finish my sem and is going through semester break. While people surrounds me wanted me to get a part time/temporary job and I refuse it because I want to focus on my blog and poems since during my class goes on I can't do all sort of things. And it makes me stress and pressure me because i can't do something i love the most. Why can't people let me chase my own dreams in my own way?
