MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY: Slow But Continuous Progress

Hello everyone. It's time for Motivational Monday series. Our topic for today is "Slow But Continuous Progress".

Have you ever face a situation in which you have put so much efforts on something but the outcome does not reach your expectation? Probably, you actively promoting your business but your sales are still low or you already attended so many extra classes but you still do not get A. 

If your answer is "yes", don't worry. You are not the only one in that situation. Others also face the same thing at certain time in their life. However, the crucial thing is how you handle that situation.

Did you give up or work harder? 

It is disappointing when you do not see the desired outcome. This is because human always view success as achieving the target. We forget about the journey towards the success. Before you consider your efforts as a failure, you should check on few things.

First, list out all the progresses even though they are just a little progress. Progressing even only 0.1% is still a progress. However, it is a slow progress. 

Second, check whether you are putting efforts consistently or just when you feel want to do it. Consistency is a key to success in doing anything. At the same time, figure out what other ways that you have not try.

Third, ask yourself whether you are comparing yourself with others or with yourself in the previous days. Remember that you do not need to have the same progress with others at the same time. You might progress faster or vice versa.

Slow but continuous progress is always better than no progress at all. So, keep putting efforts and work hard to achieve what are you dreaming for. 

Everyone will progress differently in our life. That is why we cannot expect ourselves to have a fast progress like some people. Use others' progress as inspiration for us but never give up just because we do not progress as fast as them.
