MOTIVATIONAL MONDAY: Shine In Our Own Way

Hello everyone. It's been a while since the last entry on Motivational Monday series. Therefore, I'm back with a topic "Shine in our own way ".

The reason why I chose this topic is because I realise that many people forget to shine in their own way. The presence of social media makes some of us tend to follow or copy what others are doing without considering our own capabilities.

It is good to obtain an inspiration and motivation when seeing others' success. However, we must be realistic in doing something. Do not be too ambitious and try to do something that we are also not really sure.

Sometimes we are frustrated because we fail in what we do but others can succeed even though we are doing the same thing with them. Why???

This is because we are focusing on what others do. We do not focus on what we can do. We forget that we can also shine in our own way.

Success does not mean we earn hundred thousand per month or we have few millions followers on social media. It means that we do something in a great way even though it is small thing. 

For example, fail to secure a job in our field of study does not mean we cannot shine. It is not the end of the world. We can explore new filed that is more suitable with our skills and interest.

Some people are lucky because they are able to shine in a way that they have imagined. For some people, we might not shine as bright as them yet. However, we should not give up and keep trying to discover the potential in ourselves.

Bear in mind that following what others do without evaluating our potential is not a good way to shine. Do what we know to do, not what others know to do.
